Since its liberation, Bangladesh has risen from the ashes of hundreds of incredibly precarious environs. This success can be attributed to a number of elements, including one of the world's most competitive garment industries, women's education and empowerment, a strong network of nonprofit groups, and high levels of remittances.
Bangladesh has come a long way thanks to its perseverance, struggle, negotiation, ingenuity, cooperation, faith, and never-ending learning. Identified as a 'role model' for disaster management, this developing country has also been playing a crucial role to raise its voice in climate change negotiations and taking initiatives to mitigate and adapt to the changing climate. After a bold half-century, Bangladesh is positioned to construct an inexorably brighter future, armed with courage, conviction, and confidence.
