Human civilization and technologies evolved simultaneously. From antiquity to modern-days we saw the emergence of various technologies starting from ancient technologies to computers, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IOT), Smart Homes, Satellite etcetera. The journey of technological advancement is really fascinating. It’s a realm of humans imagination, hard work, iDEA’s and foresightedness. It’s a long mystical journey which is a subject of further research. Human mind is never satisfied with the latest tech rather their imagination takes them to the world of new discoveries and achievements. However, regarding modern tech’s trend there are two emerging school of thoughts; optimists suggests that every new innovation is taking human civilization further ahead. On the contrary, the pessimists postulates that latest trend of tech may lead to a disastrous end to humanity. Only time can say which prediction will become reality. Major Tanvir Hossain, psc has an extensive background in military training, Counter Insurgency Operations, risk management and human resource management. He has held many executive management roles in Bangladesh Army including a faculty level position in Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP). In BUP he was involved in Faculty Development Training and worked as member of BUP Innovation team. He holds two master’s degree in Defense Studies and Peace, Conflict & Human Rights Studies. He is an alumnus of Dhaka University, BUP and USA’s Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM). He is a regular contributor of English Daily Newspapers in Bangladesh. This is his first published book. However, another book on Bangla poetry is being published almost in the same time. He has also published a number of research papers in Military History and Peace-Conflict issues.
